I
n 1946, Gerald D. Peterson invented and then introduced the aluminum
sliding window to the market. The window was an instant hit among architects,
builders, and owners alike. Highly regarded for it's superior design and
refinement, due in large part to over 30 patents, Peterson windows are the only
choice of many architects for their modern homes.
Our philosophy is that windows and doors
should be built to last the lifetime of the home or building. We still
provide parts and service for the very first windows built in our factory
nearly 60 years ago. And we expect to do so well into the future.
There may be some who have dismissed aluminum windows as energy wasting, but
properly constructed and designed thermal break aluminum windows and doors are
unmatched in their capabilities and flexibility for modern design, while
providing low air infiltration rates and good energy efficiency with high
performance glass.
Now in our second generation, we expect to
continue to provide the same products we've been known for, while introducing
additional new designs with the same attention to detail and unique features
of our existing products. As always, we enjoy creating custom solutions
for projects that other manufacturers interested only beating their prior
production numbers are unwilling to do.
