The Medalist Series door has been the anchor of the Peterson product line for over 40 years. While others have just recently developed high performance doors tested in the HC or AW 60 performance class, the Medalist door has since 1962 been capable of meeting these demanding requirements. So why fool around with a good thing? Other than minor refinements, and the addition of a thermal break design in 1978, the Medalist door has remained essentially unchanged for all these years. Why is this important? Just try to find rollers, or a track, a lock, or weatherstrip, or any kind of part for another sliding door built in 1962.
Like the Medalist door, the Sapphire window has also been relatively unchanged for over 40 years. Minor refinements and the addition of a thermal break have been the only changes. Even our lock mechanism, which we manufacture ourselves, is the same as the one used in 1962. The Sapphire window like it's prior versions built all the way back to 1946, have been used in modern residential homes, institutional use such as schools, dormitories, hospitals and churches, and high rise coastal applications alike. Rated at HC 60 and up to 20 psf water performance, it combines clean refined design with rugged durability and high performance.
The Paragon series has been recently revised, however the product line dates back to 1963, when it was first introduced. Available as project out, project in, casement, and fixed versions in a 2" deep 1/8" wall thickness thermal frame, it is the perfect choice for projects that require a stand alone or insert into curtainwall applications.
Similar to our Paragon 200 series, yet with a depth of 2-3/4" to combine with our Sapphire window or for heavier duty requirements, the Paragon 275 is the perfect choice.
Our heaviest version of the paragon series, this window is designed to compliment our Medalist series door with similar frame depths and larger size capacities.
Our Paragon series continues with the addition of a thermal entrance door. Designed for heavy duty use and available in a variety of stile widths and configurations, it is used in both commercial and modern residential applications.
